MIUI 13 Live Wallpapers on any Android device

Xiaomi has launched its MIUI 12 successor MIUI 13 in China on 28th December'2021 . With the launch of MIUI 13 , Xiaomi has added a lot of new features, performance improvements, and optimizations.   Also read -  Project Elixir Rom Review | Android 12  MIUI 13 In MIUI 13 , Xiaomi has improved the multitasking capabilities, better app fluency , and a lot more optimizations.  MIUI 13 is also comparatively more secure than its previously launched versions, as MIUI 13 brings privacy watermark, face verification protection, fraud protection.  MIUI 13  has the new system fonts ` MiSans` , and new super wallpapers. The new MIUI 13 super wallpapers are now available for any android device. [Rom] Mallu OS 1.3 | Rom Review

Mallu Os, based on Lineage os. The rom is basically designed to boost the overall performance and reliability over the stock android.  The rom comes without Gapps so we need Gapps in order to use the Google services. 


Currently, reviewing the rom on Poco F1 but the rom is available for other Xiaomi devices too like Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 5. (Visit Here) in order to download the rom.

The rom comes with Android Version (10) with the September security patch. As the rom comes without Gapps so the default browser is Firefox Lite and Audio FX, Phonograph apps are pre-installed in this rom. 




Calendar and calculator icons are refreshed and new stock wallpaper has also been added. Moreover, we have the option to hide the apps from recents. 

Customizations

Talking about the customizations, we have gaming mode, MIUI style brightness slider, MIUI like volume panel to give an MIUI flavor. Charging animation, Edge Lighting support is also there. In Status bar, we have Volte icons, Override VOWIFI icons, and to make the navigation style more enhanced we have navigation settings like System navigation, and more.



Not only this, but we also have some of the cool icon shapes and AOD clock styles to beautify the Lockscreen and Homescreen. Show Volume Panel on the Left, Three-finger Screenshot like Handy features is also present in this rom. 

Gestures

Under Gestures, In system navigation settings, we can change the size of the navigation pill as well as for the seamless experience we can also hide the navigation pill.  

Performance

Talking about the Performance, there are no complaints as the rom is itself designed to boost the overall performance. The app opening speed is also good and the rom is itself stable to use it as a daily driver.

Installation Process

1. Have to be on the latest orange fox recovery or any recovery but the latest one.

2. go to advanced wipe and select Dalvik/Art cache, system, data, vendor and then swipe to the right to wipe all these(coming from the MIUI or any rom then don't forget to format data)

3. Now navigate to the location where you have stored your rom, now select your rom, and Gapps that you have downloaded and click on install. 

4. You can also install the Magisk to root the rom(Optional) 

5. Click on reboot then system, the device will take up to 3-5 minutes or less to boot. 

Important Notes

The Firmware version must be based on MIUI-Q based
