Xiaomi has launched its MIUI 12 successor MIUI 13 in China on 28th December'2021 . MIUI 12.5 latest beta(21.5.21-21.5.25) brings new Repair mode, reduced animations, redesigned menu, and more

Xiaomi has been continuously releasing the new MIUI 12.5 beta builds and with almost every new release, they are consistently adding new features, fixes, and optimizations.

Xiaomi is one of the OEM's that constantly releases new alpha updates almost every day to provide an enhanced and seamless User experience by fixing bugs and a lot of optimizations also at the same time add new features to their MIUI software. 

Xiaomi has started the MIUI 12.5 stable builds for the Global variants, and to keep you updated with the global build releases we have a dedicated MIUI 12.5 update tracker that will get updated after every new release. 

With the release of 21.5.21, 21.5.22, and 21.5.24 builds, Xiaomi has added a bunch of new features, fixes, redesigned Screen recorder, and some other Optimizations. 

Redesigned Screen Recorder
Latest V1.9.9 Screen-recorder update brings redesigned pop-up menu. The updated version added the recorded videos folder and settings button. 


Note- The latest Screen Recorder update may not work on Global ROM.

New Repair Mode

In this new Beta release, Xiaomi has also added a new Repair / Maintenance Mode to protect the mobile phone data like images, videos from prying eyes.


Reduced Animations in weather and Security app
With the latest Weather and security app updates, low-end variant devices like Redmi Note 8, Redmi 9T Xiaomi have reduced the animations for a lag-free experience. So, from now onwards we no longer get the rainy effects. Also, the time format is now changed to Afternoon / Evening from AM / PM and some other Optimizations.
