Top 5 underrated OneUI Features on Galaxy SmartPhones

Samsung's OneUI skin is highly customizable and has better privacy features compared to other Android skins. Samsung has improved its OneUI skin a lot in terms of interface as OneUI brings many new changes in the design. Recently, Samsung has announced OneUI 5.0 which will bring many new customizable features like: 

  • Set a different call background for each contact

  • Lock-Screen Customization

  • Sleep Mode

Battery Health

The battery is the most essential part of the smartphone nowadays. Most OEMs give higher mah battery capacity, so the smartphone battery can last longer. In Samsung, we have some options to increase the overall battery health for quite a long time. Protect Battery and Adaptive battery are a couple of good examples. By enabling Protect Battery option the phone won't charge more than 85%. As a Smartphone user, you can make sure that Battery doesn't go below 20%.

How to enable these Options: 

    • go to Settings> Battery and device care 

    • then choose Battery> More battery settings 

    • and choose  Adaptive battery, and Protect battery




Spot Color

Nowadays almost everyone uses editing apps to sharpen, and beautify their Images. In Samsung, we have all these features but there is also a cool feature called Spot Color. This feature is useful to highlight a specific color in an image. 

How to use this feature: 

    • Go to Gallery> choose any Image

    • Click on edit> choose the spot color


Camera (Shutter) Shortcut 

We are talking about the customizations and in the camera app, we have cool customization for the shutter button. Just quickly swipe up on it(Shutter Button) to turn it on. Makes it a lot easier to take pictures. 



Motion and gestures

This feature is basically useful for people who love to read and wants the screen to remain on. Samsung has a feature called keep Screen on while viewing.  It will basically use your front camera to detect your face and will keep the screen on while reading or viewing on your phone.

How to Enable this Feature: 
  • Go to Settings> Advanced features
  • Motions and gestures
  • Turn on keep Screen on while viewing


Flashlight

There are very less OEMs who give the customization on the flashlight. Samsung has this feature to control the brightness of the Flashlight from Level 1 to Level 5.
