Xiaomi has launched its MIUI 12 successor MIUI 13 in China on 28th December'2021 . The Android version is 12, and the Elixir version is 1.2. The rom also has the latest security patch of December 5, 2021. Moreover, the SELinux status is Enforcing. 



Customizations

The Project Elixir not only provides smoothness but also has different types of customizations. Under Essence, we have the customizations like Battery styles, Statusbar icons, Tap to sleep, brightness slider controls, In-call vibration settings, advanced restart option, and much more. 


The rom also has the gestures which bring a Quickly open camera, One-handed mode, Swipe to screenshot, System navigation which includes Gesture navigation, 2-button, 3-button navigation. 



Wallpaper & Style

Under Wallpaper & style, we have the Dark theme option, Theme based icons on the Homescreen which is still in beta but works perfectly fine. We also have the option of basic colors to choose from different colors. 



Performance

As mentioned earlier, the rom feels buttery smooth with the animations and has no lags while switching between the apps. The Project Elixir brings Pixel Launcher out of the box and has some of the Launcher settings.
