Xiaomi has launched its MIUI 12 successor MIUI 13 in China on 28th December'2021 . The new MIUI 13 super wallpapers are now available for any android device. MIUI 12.5 beta update (21.7.2) brings new Privacy protection feature

No doubt, Xiaomi MIUI is one of the most customizable Android skins. Almost every day Xiaomi releases new beta builds. Most of the build brings new features and fixes to enhance the User experience.

The new (21.7.2) MIUI 12.5 beta update brings optimization and fixes for search and added incognito function.  

Privacy Protection

- Added the incognito mode function. After turning on the incognito mode, all applications will not be able to use the three permissions of positioning, camera, and recording.

Search

- Optimize the ability of text recognition in pictures, and provide AI services under the premise of protecting user privacy.

- Fix inaccurate numbers and mailbox recognition.

- Fix loading animation display exception

- Fix the abnormal sequence of picture text recognition results. 

- Fix the display of retry when there is no text in picture recognition. 

Previously, (21.6.30) MIUI 12.5 beta update brings fixes and optimizations for the system, status bar, and notification bar. Also added support for voice in XiaoAI. The full changelog for the same has been given below:

System

- Fix the problem that the phone restarts after opening the small window in the horizontal screen.

Status bar, notification bar

- Optimize the logic of receiving unimportant notification. 

- Fix the exception that sometimes notifications such as alarm clock reminders are not displayed.

XiaoAI

- Added support for voice wake-up when the phone is on the screen. After recording the wake-up word "Little Ai", Xiao AI can recognize your voice and only respond to your instructions.
