Xiaomi has launched its MIUI 12 successor MIUI 13 in China on 28th December'2021 . The new MIUI 13 super wallpapers are now available for any android device. Pixel Experience May 2021 Android 11 Plus Edition Rom(Unofficial)

 Pixel Experience ROM, an AOSP based custom ROM, aims to provide smoothness and performance rather than adding new customizations. Pixel Experience is also the most preferred ROM amongst users as It also brings stability and gives a decent battery backup.

Pixel Experience comes with a Pixel launcher and has some essential Google apps pre-installed along with some pixel goodies to enhance the Android experience. 

Just like Pixel Experience, there is a special edition of Pixel Experience and that is the Pixel plus edition of Pixel Experience, and today we have an unofficial Pixel Experience ROM but this rom is very much smooth and can be used as a daily driver.

 It is based on Android 11 which has the latest security patch of May 5th, 2021. The review has been carried on Poco M2 Pro and below are the download links and some compatible devices list:

User Interface


Talking about the user interface, the pixel experience ROM offers a bloat-free experience and has the pixel launcher pre-installed along with some other Google essential apps. The overall smoothness and stability in this ROM are great. 

Customizations

Moving on to customizations, the Pixel Experience ROM has all the features like the dark theme, live display, Adaptive brightness, double-tap to wake gestures, and more. In customizations, it offers the Network traffic monitor, status bar icons, clock position, Battery indicator, and more. 

Gestures


Coming onto Gestures, we have some Gestures control like Quickly open camera, prevent ringing, Power menu, swipe to screenshot, and system navigation which includes three-button navigation, and gestures navigation. 

Battery

Talking about the battery usage, it offers a pretty decent Screen on time with no active drains which offer the battery to lasts long. and for optimal performance, it also has Optimization profiles to adjust for every app, and a battery saver which can extend the battery life by restricting some activities. 

Conclusion

Both the normal and Plus edition can be used as a daily driver. The Performance is very good, smooth UI experience and no animation lags. Battery Backup is also good in this ROM with or without gaming. For customizations use the Plus edition and for pure stock use the normal edition.
