Xiaomi has launched its MIUI 12 successor MIUI 13 in China on 28th December'2021 . MIUI 12 update, which was launched in early 2020, included a lot of new features like super wallpapers,  floating window, and more. As per Xiaomi, nearly 30 devices have already been upgraded to MIUI12. Now the company is planning to release the new MIUI 12.5 update which will bring stability and optimizations.

There are rumors that with MIUI 12.5, we can see improved Privacy protection settings, a new power menu, a Redesigned volume panel UI, new animation changes to the recents menu of the default launcher, and some more new features. 

Talking about the release date there is no confirmed release date about the MIUI12.5 but it is expected to hit the devices in early 2021.
