Stag Os rom review, aim at something towards material design, elegance, and Pure android experience with bits of customizations.
Stag Os, based on the Android 10(Q) version with the security patch of August. Stag Os, a completely new rom aiming towards elegance. New icons, better performance as well as better stability. UI And Gestures
The UI of this rom is mostly the same just like other custom roms but this rom uses AOSP launcher and has different launcher settings. We also got a new earth wallpaper.
The rom has inbuild AOSP Gallery app, phonograph, Stag walls to choose the wallpapers, and also supports omniSwitch. Android R style notifications and some Quick settings tile smart pixels, screen stabilization, and much more.
Talking about the Gestures, we screen off torch, swipe to screenshot, system navigation gestures but with some tweaks.
Levels of customizations
Not Just focusing on material design, the rom also has customizations and also has some unique customization like completely new volte icons, Gaming mode with some tweaks, variety of new Volume Panel style like AOSP, oreo, tiled, compat, and more.
For header images, we have the image collection to choose from, Quick settings, wake up on a charge, and lock-screen customizations are also present.
Display And Xiaomi Parts
Moving to the display, we have the Screen attention settings to prevent the screen from turning off, the night light, and ambient display support is also present in the rom.
Xiaomi parts also added in this rom and in this, we have the Mi sound enhancer FPS info overlay, Backlight dimmer, Display calibration, and much more.
Performance
The rom is not just for the designing, the rom is also for the gamers as the performance of this rom is great like we can easily play high-end graphics game like PUBG in HD high graphics with no lags, and with full stability.
Battery Life
The battery of this rom is also great as for the normal users we can easily get 6+ hours of battery backup while in continuous gaming 4 to 5 hours of Screen on time but it may vary from user to user.
How To Flash the Rom
1. Have to be on the latest orange fox recovery or any recovery but the latest one.
2. goto advanced wipe and select Dalvik/Art cache, system, data, vendor and then swipe to the right to wipe all these(coming from the MIUI or any rom then don't forget to format data)
3. Now navigate to the location where you have stored your rom, now select your rom, and Gapps that you have downloaded(optional if you have downloaded the non-Gapps version) and click on install.
4. You can also install the Magisk to root the rom(Optional)
5. Click on reboot then system, the device will take up to 5-8 minutes or less to boot.
