Havoc Os, a Rom well known for its customizations but without compromising its stability and performance.
Havoc Os is based on Android 10(Q) and comes with the August security patch. The Rom is basically the stock Android but what makes it unique is the Customizations. The rom is maintained by REIGNZ3. The rom has both Gapps as well as non-Gapps version, you can download the files from here.
Here we are reviewing the rom on Poco F1 but this rom is available for most of the devices.
UI And Gestures
As the rom is inspired by Google's pixel out of the box but we get the updated shady launcher based on the launcher3, refreshed icons packs with some cool Quick settings tile, and also newly added wallpapers.
As the rom is Android 10 based so it does support Android 10 system-wide navigation gestures and not only this we also get the swipe to screenshot, jump to the camera like gestures.
Customizations
The most highlighted feature of havoc is here, the Configuration center which will customize your device like never before. We have The screen cutout mode, stock status bar height, option to change corners. In Animations, we have the animation duration, and other options to change the animations.
Under Notifications, we have edge lighting, Heads up, configure notification light as the per-app basis, flashlight settings, much more. In lock screen settings, we have some vibration settings, Elements like show status bar on the lock screen, lock icon, charging info, and much more.
Performance
Not only in customization, but the rom has also very impressive performance in terms of gaming. No lags and also overall boost can be seen in this new build.
Battery
Can't say much regarding the battery as every user has different usage like some are gaming users and some are normal users but you will get 7+ hours of Screen on time for the normal users.
We also have the Battery saving settings like suspending actions when the screen is turned off and block sensors for selected apps.
How To Flash the Rom
1. Have to be on the latest orange fox recovery or any recovery but the latest one.
2. goto advanced wipe and select Dalvik/Art cache, system, data, vendor and then swipe to the right to wipe all these(coming from the MIUI or any rom then don't forget to format data)
3. Now navigate to the location where you have stored your rom, now select your rom, and Gapps that you have downloaded(optional if you have downloaded the non-Gapps version) and click on install.
4. You can also install the Magisk to root the rom(Optional)
5. Click on reboot then system, the device will take up to 5-8 minutes or less to boot.
