Xiaomi has launched its MIUI 12 successor MIUI 13 in China on 28th December'2021 . The new MIUI 13 super wallpapers are now available for any android device. [Latest] Evolution X 4.6 rom review : How To Install This Rom

 Evolution X rom, the rom with the smoothest UI and the rom which has a lot of customization, and this rom can be used as a daily driver as the battery backup is pretty impressive.  

                                                

The Project is maintained by or Lead developer for this project is Joey Huab and the maintainer for this device is Zeeshan.

Evolution X, the rom which provides the update very frequently and faster monthly security patches. This is the rom which provides support for most of the android devices and basically a featured pack rom especially for those who love to customize the device and also want performance. The Gapps are pre-installed in this rom so need to flash the Gapps separately.

About Phone

The Rom is based on Android version 10(Q) and running on the latest security patch of August.

The Rom supports OTA update but not supports the incremental OTA means you will get the full 1.2, 1.3 GB update instead of 200-300Mb. The Rom supports both fingerprint and face-unlock feature.

No Bloatware

As the rom brings true pixel experience which means no bloatware and offers a clean UI and comes with few necessary Google Apps and has a default MIUI camera. The rom also has the screen recorder which supports the internal audio as well as microphone audio, also we can change the resolution, bit rate, and number of frames.

Customizations

The rom is well known for its customizations and has various customizations under The Evolver section and basically, we can customize everything from themes, status bar, animations, gestures, and many more which also includes the gaming mode. we also have the option to choose the volte icons from the given list.


It also includes the Xiaomi parts where we can enable the FPS info overlay, enable USB fast-charge, and many more.


Display

Under Display settings we have the dark theme option and also has the night light option and we can also schedule it like Turns on from sunset to sunrise.

We have the live-display support where we can calibrate the on-screen colors, picture adjustment, and more.

Battery

The rom has a pretty decent battery backup and can last long up to 5-6 hrs SOT. In a battery, we have the option to check the battery temperature and have the smart charging option which allows you to set the maximum charging level to extend the battery life-span.

Gestures

            

At last, we also have gestures like adaptive playback, swipe to screen-shot, system navigation, and much more. 

In system navigation, we have the option to hide the navbar pill, enable disable the animated back arrow, and other options also.  


How to Flash This Rom

1. Have to be on the latest orange fox recovery or any recovery but the latest one.

2. goto advanced wipe and select Dalvik/Art cache, system, data, vendor and then swipe to the right to wipe all these(coming from the MIUI or any rom then don't forget to format data)

3. Now navigate to the location where you have stored your rom, now select your rom and click on install. 

4. Click on reboot then system, the device will take up to 5-8 minutes or less to boot.
